The McLaren Senna p15 is the newest addition to Mclaren’s “Ultimate series” after the legendary F1 and the mighty P1.

The name McLaren is not strange to a Car enthusiast, a name very well known for the angelic and dominant sports luxury cars they produce.

McLaren unveiled the Senna by releasing a teaser on 10th December 2017 and is set for first public appearance in the 2018 Geneva Motor show.

The Name

This piece of marvelous craftsmanship and engineering is named Senna as a tribute to the Formula 1 Veteran Ayrton Senna.

The Engine

The McLaren Senna P15 is powered by a modified version of the 720S‘ 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 dubbed the M840TR. It is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission that drives all 789 HP and 800 Nm to the rear wheels.

The aero Dynamics and the air intake systems have been improved and the car weighs very little at 1,198 kg, which is 181 kg lesser than the P1

Production and pricing

The production of this car is limited to 500 units which are already sold out. Deliveries for the McLaren Senna will commence by the third quarter of 2018.

The supercar has been priced around $ 1 Million

The McLaren Senna P15, like its predecessors is a car intended primarily for use on a racetrack and has all the requirements for everyday road use.
